Project-BIDYADAAN is a vibrant initiative taken by a group of like minded Indian youth to promote quality education through short term training, Scholarship program for poor students, Career guidance programs and to embed extreme patriotism in the heart of the future India. The group of people has no political and commercial gain from this project but it is journey towards credible India.

Dear Team Members,
ReplyDeleteWe have decided to organize the function on 26th Jan 2011 but we got extraordinary oppose from different group in Assam. There was a cloud of uncertainty as Assam band call by terrorist groups had already been declared. So I suggested to organize it on 23rd Jan 2011 which is the Netaji's Jayanti. Myself and an another member Nirmali decided to compromise with the situation. Then I handed over the charge to Nirmali to discuss with Guests and School Management regarding the data. The date was all most final but the Nirmali was hiding a truth not to discourage us, that is "The teachers and principal of the school not willing to come on that day as it was sunday (Non working day)". Still one of the Member from the school management took strict action and every body came on the day specified.

> We have personally called 10 guests and out of which only 3 guests said that they will come and other 7 said they are busy in some other events.But during the event it was the reverse, 3 guest are absent and 7 came to our function.

> Documentary movie on Subhash Bose was canceled as Armed revolution may affect young child. Here one interesting thing I observed that Terrorist Organization also used to show Netaji's photo in their office. One banner I have seen in heart of the Guwahati saying that "Celebration of Great Netaji Subhash Ch Bose- By Greater Assam Liberated Front". So Director General of Police personali suggested us not to show armed revolution as it will be comparable to ULFA. They will take the advantages of this.
> Just before the start of the function our local member Nirmali got a call from hier Chief Executive Officer that to come at any cost now to attend a meeting although it is sun day. She could not denied to the CEO but not ready to leave the function. She called Union Leader and said the situation and without information didn’t go to the meeting switching off the mobile. I was feeling very tens as if CEO will take any action on her then her job may be in danger. But everything was completed successfully.
> Every body including School Management, Guests had appreciated Vidyadaan Team a lot. Two of the members got shocked how we 7 person organized this. They have given us very good remark likely to be hosted in this blog with in few days. Three members called us and told me that you people from outside Assam did this for us, now wherever you do this kind of program out side Assam then plz let us know so that we can contribute the same amount as you individual people are paying. They have given their number as well as taken our numbers. In facet we got 3 more members in our team.
> Just after the meeting, I have returned to the hotel and again went to railway station to book ticket but came to know that all trains have been canceled due to a blast on track and the band call will be effective till 29th. I was tense what will I do from 23rd to 29th alone there. I went for bus booking but Govt bus case was also same, no bus till 29th. Then I went for private bus and luckly got one seat in last bus to Nagaland.

The appreciations, clapping sound, Happy face of the students were coming repeatedly in my mind.We have much pencil and rubber than students in drawing competition so We gave 2 pencils to each. One small child was doing drawing with one pencil for 10 sec then changing to another pencil as he was thinking that if he will not use both then we will take back the unused one. One other small child asked us whether she can take the Sharpener or not to home, when we say yes u can then she was very happy.

ReplyDeleteWe need to do an exact calculation of expenditure, not to recollect but to estimate for future events.
ReplyDeleteOur breakfast was also good quality. Kalpna award and it certificate (well appreciated by guests) are also very good.
Our food packet was 18/- each X 100 and water for only guest 10/- X 15 and tea was 200/-.
For us its like WOW.

ReplyDeleteWe should Give our forum a good name like "NAtional Youth Form", "YUVA" or "Indian Youth Force" etc. And under this forum we should put some project like
1. Vidyadaan: For scholarship, Book Donation, Obsolate computer donation to schools etc.
2. KALPANA AWARD: Talent Hunt Like singing, dancing, education, general knowledge, debate,drawing, painting etc.
3. ARYABHATTA: For the promotion of Science like science workshop, seminars, taking poor student to planotorium and science musium etc.
4. DRONACHARYA: For training program i.e capacity building like Advance Computer Teacher's Training Program, Training on Vedi Mathmatics-an Indian way of mathmatic, personality development, communication skill etc.

5. Seva: In the case of national emergancy like war, flood, super cyclone and misc tragedy.

Note I have 6 more people to join our team. And We are planning to identify one school at Leh/Ladakh and go there to give 3 student one year scholarship as well as some books (A-for Apple with Diagra like color books) to small childreen. Leh/Ladakh got washed out in last flood.

ReplyDeletePlease go ahead. One thing we need to figure out if exactly the same named awards are there and it may create conflicts. Otherwise its perfectly fine. we may need to talk to some legal adviser. I am not sure though.
Now Can we plan to create a website soon. Let me know the budget for this.

ReplyDeletewe can find 1GB free server space but need to purcahse a domain name whose cost may vary from 350/- to 650/- per annum. Latter this 1GB may be updated and our free plan can be converted to paid plan to get more server space. Now nothing only 500/- per annnum for static page and 2000/- for dynamic page development. I can do the designing (not sure how good designer I am) free. See http://peren-district.nic.in designed by me.
